#AskFedi Does anyone have an alternative for #Macrium Reflect? I need to occasionally image my machines, Macrium is the only one I've seen with Volume Shadow Copy (Online backup) that works well.

However, they've refused to release the file format and I've had a couple of images become corrupted.

Having tried a fair chunk of the available #backup utilities on #Windows and #Linux, I think I'll just leave 4TB free on my NAS and image the whole boot drive. Everything else is too slow.

Are there any decent backup formats that support zstd, allow individual file access or have good indexing / searching?

I use #Macrium on Windows, but they'll never open up their file format.
