Today's sprite drawing is based on the Dendy video game B Wing. It's a cool, 8-bit game. A space shooter. An entire genre flourished in those 8-bit days. And we played them on cartridges! It was so much fun!

Thanks to a recent upload to the Internet Archive from "LazArchive", I could finally put together a set of compatible MS-DOS 3.31 floppy disks. The COMPAQ FASTART utility disk from 1989 finally works as intended using the COMPAQ User Programs v6.01 Rev B. This never worked for me before, so it's a huge improvement! 😃

MS-DOS v3.31 is a particularly useful version of DOS, because it was the first version to support a partition size of over 32MB... up to 512MB!

Finally got one of these again. I had a 100LX like 20 years ago and sold it on eBay. I stumbled across this near mint 200LX and just had to splurge again. An actual MSDOS pocket PC. I have so much cool stuff to load on here.

Absolutely ZERO enshittification here.

If a #StarCadre Combat Class unit carries more items than they can manage, they'll start to slow down, and nearly everything they do will take more of their precious action points. So don't over-equip your units, and when on a gathering mission, share out the load between the units that can manage it best. Continúo con mis experimentos y ports en el ESP32-P4, y esta vez le tocó a tiny386, un emulador de 386 cuyo repositorio original podéis ver aquí:

He conseguido sacar el framebuffer a la pantalla DSI y conectar el teclado usando HID USB.
Como prueba, he logrado ejecutar Eternam, una aventura gráfica bastante peculiar, y la primera que jugué en mi vida con mi primer ordenador.
