Heart-wrenching loss. Women and ALL #youth today have been tossed into the churn of political backwash impacting our bodies, #healthcare and rights as humans. On this #MLKDayOfService, let's double down on commitments to Planned Parenthood, choosing action over giveupitis in her honor. ⛑️ #RoevWade

My #MLKDayOfService was helping to clean up the North Fork of Peachtree Creek along the #PeachtreeCreekGreenway We had a great crew as you can see. Among the unusual items I personally removed from the creek (along with various trash) were a stroller, TV remote, three shoes, a PC keyboard and an Ethernet cable. #MLKday #ATL #Brookhaven #Greenway

My wife and I volunteered to pack meal kits to honor #mlkday2024 and the #mlkdayofservice at the Orange County Convention center in #orlando #florida. Our table packed almost 900 kits during our two hour shift. It was a great experience and they had a DJ playing good music. The only problem was that the music was so loud it made it hard to talk with the rest of the folks working at our table.
Still cold today. Perfect weather to go out to volunteer at the The Friendship Center Food Pantry. The temps are in Celsius for our friends overseas. #MLKDayofService

What an honor to be invited to the Johnston County, NC NAACP's celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King's legacy and witness the incredible work the people of Johnston County and this state have done. We were also graced with an incredible and eloquent speech by former Mayor of Spring Lake, NC and current President of Barber-Scotia College Chris V.
