Started #Monday with my colleague's chocolate cake. 😊
Yesterday, we had only 6 museum visitors. The couple of somewhere from the Southwest had our guide for themselves, could enjoy our animations and homemade cakes. They left with tears in their eyes and: "It was like being with family here!"
This is why we volunteer: making people happy, sharing our love for the #museum.

Back from a food distribution event with the local #FoodNotBombs group, in Norristown.

There are a lot of very desperate people out there, many of them unhoused. So, now pondering how to do better next time: what dish of food to prepare and bring, what supplies to bring, things like that.

For me, this is the flip side to protesting at #TeslaTakedown: doing what I stand for, not just what I stand against.

I've organized with several volunteer groups over the years, as friends and in coops. Every time it grew too the point that we needed some tool to track what everyone is doing, it ended up a disaster. And I think I know why: to-do-list and project management tools are not made for us!
