For the past few years, I've been using #MEGA mainly because the #MEGAsync desktop app works really well and out of the box on both #Linux and #Windows systems.

I haven't had ang issues getting it to work on #Dolphin and #Nautilus.

So it seems the last update of the #Megasync desktop app for #Fedora #Linux makes the program to segfault every time I try to run it.

Too tired and stressed to debug it or post an issue in its repo. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow.

New experiment: delete all of the stock apps (File manager, gallery, video player, music player, etc.) from my #Android phone (a #Realme C55) and replace them with #FOSS alternatives from #Fdroid and #IzzyOnDroid :

- File manager -> File Explorer
- Photos and video player -> #AvesLibre
- Music player -> #Gramophone
- Google Contacts -> #Fossify Contacts

I've deleted #GooglePhotos too, since I'm going to use #Filen_io and #Megasync for that purpose.

Flatpack y otras opciones siempre me acarrean congelamientos si decido cambiar las carpetas por defecto.

Me encantaría poder usar #Nextcloud pero aún no logro que el 100% de los archivos se sincronicen el 100% de las veces.

Am I the only one experiencing weird issues with #MEGAsync? It often detects conflicts when I'm updating a file from a single computer. Come on, if the document was already synced and is then being edited from one computer, there should be no doubt that the latest local version is the correct one.

And the worst part (as shown in the picture): it now claims that one of my files was moved to another location, which is not true.

I recommend everyone to stay away from #MEGAsync.

@gnome has integration with Google, Microsoft and Nexcloud accounts. It should also have integration with Proton, Tuta (Tutanota), Dropbox, Mega and other similar services.
