I don't usually like saying a film is better than another if they're different genres but I think I have to, just to frame things for comparison.
But objectively, Project Hail Mary is a better movie than The Drama. However, I can honestly say that I enjoyed the latter more. Mainly because it's more "my taste" in films. So despite the disparity, I'd give them the same ranking.

The Misfit (2022) #ShortFilm
This was my first project right after pandemic lockdown ended. It was meant to be a pilot for an #LGBT web series but it had a mixed reception during #filmfestival screenings. 😅
It's the first ever project I made using #Kdenlive after fully committing to #Linux.
Despite the reception, I'm still very proud of it! And I hope it finds a second life over at #PeerTube alongside my other short films.
The video is funny and the problem is real.
A few months ago I evaluated messengers on their privacy, ethical foundations, organisational background, features and functionality.
- it’s based on a US-Based crypto coin, not bad per se, but any connection to the US does introduce a loss of trust
- it bears all the hallmarks of vibe coded AI slop.
- it’s part of a conglomerate of for-profit companies all have _AI slop_ written all over them.
I recommend
#foss instead.
