I created a new video of Lorrie Morgan's RCA/BNA era of music.

It coincides with it being 42 years ago, today, March 17, 1984, that she debuted on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart with "Don't Go Changing", her final chart single on MCA Records before making the move to RCA Records a few years later to have incredible success & an awesome run of hits.

“All you gotta do is think sad.” That’s how #LorrieMorgan writes songs—and maybe the secret behind Come See Me and Come Lonely, her second record with #PamTillis.

I talked with Lorrie about how they went from barely knowing each other to sharing a bus, a band, and a deep dive into country’s best heartache songs—including a terrifying take on #RoyOrbison’s “It’s Over” and a criminally underrated Sammy Smith deep cut.
