It seems everyone is talking about Mother's Day, and rightly so. But for those of us who have lost our mom, it can be painful. My mom passed away in 2014, and I miss her more than words.

41 years ago today, May 4, 1985, Earl Thomas Conely debuted at #69 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart with “Love Don’t Care (Whose Heart it Breaks)”. It went on to peak at #1 and spent a total of 19 weeks on the chart.

It’s been my hobby to collect 45 RPM singles. I enjoyed listening to this song on the radio and went to my favorite record store to buy and added it to my treasured music collection 4+ decades ago.
