Now for the first of the two trees planted today: this is a seedling of #Zutano (#No227), grafted with #LongSouthGate, a variety selected by Marta Matvienko from a Los Angeles area backyard tree. It's a Mexican type, with extremely long fruit. Hopefully this one will start bearing in 2024.
