the drymifolia collective@MelodyWainscott they are mostly seedlings of allegedly cold-hardy cultivars like #DelRio, #Joey, and #Mexicola. There are also a handful of #Fuerte seedlings in this batch, which probably are not hardy enough for our project, but still hardier than some avocados.
Sadly for them, this is what awaits most of them... this seedling of #Mexicola is going to need to regrow from its base yet again. You can see the first-year trunk in the center, and the three new trunks that replaced it last year. #No145
