Je viens de finir une compo avec les synthé de LMMS. C'est toujours assez kiffant.

Bon et à faire des musiques pour des jeux vidéos qui n'existent pas, j'ai eu envie de voir ce qu'elles donneraient en jeu...

Me voici donc à bricoler avec rpg maker 2003 😬 et à faire du jeu pour aller avec la musique et puis plus de musique, parce que ça prend plus d'ampleur qu'un simple test. Très amateur et assez rigolo. ☺️

aaaa so been using Vital in #lmms for a while now, never logged in in vital tho, so didn'> have all the presets, now I wanted them, so logged in... now lmms keeps segfaulting when ever I try to open the vital gui...

Sorry for the short middle missing section - I was bummed this part didn't record! But I wanted to post one with different audio so not all of them have the same track :p Though the audio track is still at an early stage

For the audio, I originally came up with this tune while tinkering around on the keyboard. I later composed it in LMMS. The version here is that early composition where I noted it down - this is from a while back, and I'd compose it differently now. It's more like an audio sketch than an audio track.

I also tried playing it on guitar a few days ago for the first time! That gave me even more ideas for how I'd add to the LMMS composition. Ah, when I have time! Or maybe I'll also try recording the guitar version at some point.

FIXED!! I unset QT_SCALE_FACTOR and everything works fine now

having issues with #lmms rendering on #NixOS

by rendering i mean the graphical interface has some strange issues and looks odd, the issues also happen with the appimage

like the playhead will have repeating copies of itself, subwindows will leave artifacts, etc.

anyone happen to know why this is? i didn't have this issue on void linux and everything else was basically the same

Y'all please contribute to #LMMS the devs are underpaid and overworked for what they do and the lack of contributors is why it's so stagnant
