i completely misheard something today, and acting based on what i'd heard would've made things really awkward, so instead i didn't say/do anything and just thought to myself "huh, that's a weird thing to say".
later, i realized that i'd misheard it and that the person i was talking to had actually said a very normal thing.

so, i need a word for the feeling of relief you get when you realize your past actions have accidentally led you to the best case scenario. because this is it

it seems that getting the inclination off by 180° when doing a contract in KSP is a rite of passage. i accidentally did that but thankfully i had enough delta-v to flip my orbit around.

If you are as annoyed as me about the fancy CVE-2026-31431 website not actually mentioning what Kernel versions to update to (only mentioning the commit rev), I translated this for you by looking through the releases manually and checking if they contain the fix.

The following upstream kernel tags contain the fix:

5.10.254+
5.15.204+
6.1.170+
6.6.137+
6.12.85+
6.18.22+
6.19.12+
7.0+

But of course your distro might also apply the patches on any other version, and they will hopefully provide that information.

Edit: added 6.6/6.12 versions

why do i post these random thoughts, this is useless information -_-

There's a new Linux-only proprietary image editor called Fog Panther. Do not install it, it's AI-generated slopware. It breaks file associations on your system and can't be uninstalled normally.

Krita will stop working outright, you won't be able to open files. Other programs may misbehave.

There is a request open on Flathub to have it removed from there.

Krita can't open krita files, not suported format. After installing Fog Panther on Linux

(OS: Xubuntu 24.0.4) A few hours ago I was going to check a ‘krita=kra’ file and Krita told me this; ´ This format is not supported’. I tried older KRA files, same warning. I could open JPG, but I didn’t try any other formats. Tried Krita 4.2,1, 5.3.0, 5.3.1.. ´ This format is not supported’. I thought back, and realized I tried ‘FogPanther’ yesterday. Uninstalled FogPanther in Gnome Software. Tried Krita again and: ´ This format is not supported’ Opened Gnome Software, FogPanther was st...

been thinking about clock logic
a broken clock is right twice a day, but if you have two working clocks you're never sure what time it is.
this doesn't make any sense. with two broken clocks either one can be right twice a day, so you can know the time twice or four times a day, but with one working clock you always know the time.

there must be a mathematical function for this. like accuracy x clock amount x whether they work or not

what if i have one broken clock and two working clocks? what about three clocks?
