Tried upgrading a clean RHEL 9.6 install to RHEL 10.0 using the official leapp tool — no custom configs, no extra packages.

Result? Boot failure and emergency mode.
If it breaks in the most trivial case, how can we trust it in production?

Was just a test, but still... lesson learned.
Anyone out there actually pulled this off?

A mostly self-taught #hacker (the ethical kind) looking for a #Devops / #Cybersecurity Engineer role in a sea of laid off tech professionals is proving to be a difficult endeavor!

My lack of real enterprise experience is the second blow that keeps me in the rejection pile before interviewing with hiring managers. This has placed me in a state of limbo, essentially, where I have a wealth of knowledge and ability that would be absolutely wasted in an entry level position.

I can't state this clearly enough: I can adapt to any IT environment, given the opportunity.

I remain undeterred, however, and I will continue my grind. I know I will make some company significant profit with the skills I've honed through pursuit of my passions. The organization that is willing to take the chance on me will be the one to reap the rewards.

Until then, I'll keep submitting applications/CV and talking with recruiters - but I hate the LinkedIn game, so I'm terrible at it.

I'll just focus on honing my craft and learning new tech and tools, and I have faith #opportunity will present itself in time.

Which reminds me! Anyone know of good ways to practice for the #RHCE? I had labs from the class, but that access is long gone.
