Je m'amuse bien pour l'instant (je viens de finir la route de Kyouka/Reika et j'ai largement entamé celle de Aya) 😜Et puis de toute façon, je suis confiant...étant quasiment un fanboy de Kinugasa Shôgo, le scénariste, l'auteur principal de ces titres.

D'ailleurs (coïncidence ?), pour rester sur ce dernier, j'ai réussi à me procurer le premier tome du #LightNovel Classroom of the Elite. @Elsental se rappellera peut-être que j'ai déjà lu les trois ou quatre premiers tomes en anglais (en dématérialisé légal).

Oui, je le reconnais. Mais je ne pouvais pas résister : sur Rakuten, le livre était en français, en très bon état et (surtout) à bas prix 🤓

Talk about a book that surprised you: how was it not what you expected?

The highly acclaimed "Ascendance of a Bookworm." The first volumes are cute and clever, but as the character grows, they become overpowered, and the series degenerates into detailed descriptions of battles, cosmic entanglements, and being thrilled at the love of a controlling patriarchal older man.

Note: My comments pertain to the #LightNovel Series, not the anime, which I have not watched.

Why do OP woman characters need a man to protect them? @yon Hate that trope.
