At almost every swearing-in ceremony across the world, there is an unspoken dress code. Political leaders (and those standing beside them) wear clothes that are owned and preserved. Even when leaders signal austerity, it is a particular kind of austerity: owned, curated, intentional. The “simple” kurta is still custom-stitched, with specific monograms. How can we combine a #selforganized #hackerspace like @xHain_hackspace a #libraryeconomy hub like @stabihh and a local government-financed #communitycenter (which are very connected to the neighborhoods but usually rather tech averse; therefore i dont know a single one on Mastodon)? Could such a bridge be a path towards more #solarpunk ?
