One of the plants we've put in our fruit tree guilds (this one around a persimmon tree) is Cusick's Checkermallow. It's threatened in its native habitat, and although that's Oregon and we're in BC, it feels good to support diversity by adding it into our garden. And today it bloomed! 💕 What a peaceful softness it brings to this little shady under-tree.

Hora d'agafar la menta nostra, abans que quedi fregida, per fer-nos algun te verd amb menta fresca, que serà deliciós. De moment, és veritat, amb fulla de Camellia sinensis que hem de comprar, però si tot va bé, d'aquí a uns anys, ja el podrem fer amb els arbustos de te que hem plantat a la finca. Per ara, creixen admirablement. ✊🏽💚
