I'd give The Hunt just a 2 star rating if it wasn't for the redeeming factor of a captivating performance by Betty Gilpin! She absolutely elevated this movie from the mediocre, uninsightful attempt at satire it is, to something fairly fun to watch. Did US politics really kill satire? Or is this just a badly written movie? I'll let you decide. 🚨 Content Warnings 🚨 Quite gory but not in a particularly realistic way so it keeps it feeling fairly mild. Death of an animal.
