Why do animators want to break my heart? Holy motherfucking shitballs, this one got me! The moment Foxy tried to save Dino?! 😭 🥺🥺🥺🦖❤️🦊💔🧶🪡 This is Stop Motion using crocheted wool characters. I've never seen a wool one before and I have no idea how they animated an unraveling puppet but it was absolutely perfectly done! They really brought the emotion, not just from the story

#KittenWatches Strange World (2022)

TLDR?
Wherein #Disney, a monumentally selfish $200 billion co. makes a movie about ppl willing to change their whole society, to save the environment, w/ apparently zero irony.

They also shortchange a #queer teen, splitting up their totally adorable relationship when one teen goes on an adventure.

It's beautiful visually but left me a bit flat.

A ★★½ review of Strange World (2022)

Disney, a $200 billion company who don't give a toss about anything but $ makes a movie about people being willing to change their entire society, to save their environment, with apparently zero irony. It's got a queer kid whose character is short changed. It's a cute relationship, but they split them up by sending one teen on the adventure without the other, shortly into the movie, & ofc they're not given a kiss scene. 🤷🏻‍♀️ That's not to say I'm not glad to see it! I am! It's a desperately needed change for Disney! But this playing both sides thing

The ultimate animated Eat The Rich movie: Teaching kids everywhere that they are way more powerful together, than the rich and powerful few controlling this fucked up dystopian world! May we overthrow the lot of them! 🔥 I could do without the ableism of the main antagonist, Hopper the grasshopper having a visible disability used to increase the terror of the character (an eye injury resulting in one eye being blinded and clouded). Teaching kids young that disability is scary, is bullshit! There is also a mentally ill grasshopper who is essentially used as a weapon against the ants. Again,
