Keep It True announces news festival Keep It True Legions

This year marked the final Keep It True Rising at the Posthalle in Würzburg, a place many glorious memories were made for many metal fans. Apparently the venue is due to be knocked down which is such a shame as it seems to be a great place for events. Nevertheless Keep It True returns in style with a new event called Keep It True Legions. You can read the full statement below released by the festival:

KEEP IT TRUE LEGIONS – AUGUST 8th & 9th, 2026

EVENTHALLE GEISELWIND – A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS!

All friends and fans of KEEP IT TRUE – the LEGIONS are rising again!

After more than two decades of keeping the flame alive, we are proud to open a new chapter in the history of the Keep It True family:

KEEP IT TRUE LEGIONS, taking place on August 8th and 9th, 2026, in the mighty Eventhalle Geiselwind!

This legendary venue offers perfect conditions for our traditional Heavy Metal celebration –

a massive hall with almost 4000 capacity, top sound, excellent stage visibility, easy access directly at the Autobahn A3, and plenty of parking, hotels, retaurants and camping options right around the corner. Our annual April edition will stay in Lauda-Königshofen of course.

We are so happy, that with SAVATAGE we could finally book one of the biggest and most important bands of our genre. Its such a huge achievement in the history of Keep It True, even more as all the other bands already booked are as legendary. Please support us on this new adventure, we always try to deliver the best possible quality for all you loyal fans.

Since the Savatage day is a Sunday, the show will end on 11pm already that day so people can either decide to take off the Monday instead of the Friday or just drive home after the headliner.
