This is our account for the posts in English, ooobviously about board games XD
We will keep @noboardgames for the posts in Italian.
We are a collective creating board games that, we hope, have some kind of positive impact. At least helping the creation of spaces for discussions between friends while playing :) Usually, we brainstorm for years and then we use the crowdfunding for giving life to the ideas we love the most.
Our first board game has been "Cast the First Stone" (a.k.a. "Riot", 2015) about urban clashes and rebellions.
We just published a new game: "The Fully Automated Board Games", touching topics like strikes, automation, conquering the universal basic income and struggle on the workspace.
We can't stop dreaming of new board games, mostly with a radical point of view, but somethimes also educational. Slowly slowly :)

Today In Labor History September 29, 1931: Estevan riot in Saskatchewan, Canada occurred when mounted police attacked striking coal miners, killing four. The miners were fighting for a raise, better working conditions and workplace safety, and an end to the Company Store monopoly.

Today in Labor History September 28, 1919: Thousands of whites rampaged through Omaha, Nebraska, setting fire to the Courthouse, lynching Will Brown, a black civilian, and attempting to hang the reformist mayor. 2 whites died. It followed more than 20 race riots across the U.S. that summer. Several years earlier, ethnic Irish rioters drove the entire Greek community from Omaha. The African-American population of Omaha had doubled from 1910-1919. Many had been recruited to work as strike breakers in the stockyards, exacerbating the racism of white workers in town. Then a white woman falsely accused a black man of raping her. Will Brown was arrested, and the woman was unable to positively ID him, but the racist crowd didn’t buy it and lynched him anyway.
