#KDE's #KRDC makes it stupid easy to set up a profile to use ssh tunnelling by default. That's really nice. Only downside is that it doesn't automatically re-connect when you resume from suspend.

I have both in the ui and in the settings of that connection set so it doesn’t scale the host resolution but it still does it the moment I resize my local window anyone know what’s going on? Mis aplicaciones para escritorio remoto son, desde #Plasma #Desktop, #krdc y #krdp; en #Windows (tema laboral) el servidor de escritorio remoto que viene con el sistema.

@jerry Given you're an infosec specialist & i'm not, i fear my reply will be far too low-tech & off-topic for your intentions in this poll. So, fwiw...

#AnyDesk & #RustDesk have worked well for me for years when i connect my #ArchLinux #KDE #Wayland pc to my dad's win10 pc to do remote support
AD & RD also work well connecting my Arch pc to my other Linux pc's IF i run their penguins in Xorg... but are incompatible with Wayland remote targets [this is now a major problem for me]
#TeamViewer does support Wayland Hosts & Remotes, but i HATE using it & wish i could purge it!
I would love to use #FOSS options like #Remmina, or #Krfb + #KRDC, but am too stupid to understand how to tell them the applicable network addresses, so i've never managed to get them working

KRDC 25.04.0 was recently released. KRDC is a client application that allows you to view or even control the desktop session on another machine that is running a compatible server. VNC and RDP is supported.

A raíz de las recientes insatisfacciones con las #GtkCsd, busqué la mejor alternativa para operar sesiones #vnc desde #Plasma, en mi #TiddlyBlog, explico por qué antes había renunciado a #KRDC en favor de #Remmina y cómo volví sobre mis pasos consiguiendo mejoras para lograr conexiones vnc sobre túnel #ssh con autenticación por llave pública (con mayor eficiencia de pasos y ventanas).

Lo malo es que no le podemos cambiar el nombre a KRDC
