Been a busy week #coding on my #fediverse client. I finally have my #python #framework (#Jenkwerx) doing exactly what it's supposed to so I've been preparing to follow my first user - me on #Mastodon!
..but I pushed pause because, while my inbox is rocking, I don't have my #ActivityPub outbox set up to process from a queue yet (it's still sending live). 😞 So back to unsexy "proper #code logic" for a bit..
..still confident I'll be following a few folks by Sunday tho - ugly test attached! 😆
Going to formally follow some accounts with my homegrown #fediverse app this week!
Been focused on building out the #database / blob storage properly, capturing and authenticating #activitypub messages I receive and updating my homegrown #python #framework (I'm referring to as #Jenkwerx)
I'm FINALLY at a point we're I am allowing myself to formally log in, which means I can automate activities instead of faking them
Really excited to build out some fedi ideas for my online #game and beyond!
I gotta admit #coding my own #web #Framework AND an #ActivityPub compliant client simultaneously has been.. a lot!
But my home grown #Jenkwerx framework is proving sound.. and every day I slowly but surely plow further along testing my #Python based #code
The goal was always a fun little set of interactive #webapps I wanted but have yet to see in the #Fediverse .. hopefully somebody beat me to it because this has become a bigger cake than I wanted to eat initially! 😂
