Glad Belgian director #JacquesFeyder is in this list. Although he mainly worked in France, but also in the US, Germany and Britain, he was born in Ixelles/Elsene, Brussels (as Jacques Frederix). For trivia reasons, note that also Audrey Hepburn (1929) and Agnès Varda (1928) were born in Belgium's #Ixelles/Elsene.
Last year there was a conference to honor Feyder, in Ghent. It tried to revisit Feyder’s work, influence, and legacy within European/global #cinema.
