The Say Sentence command in JAWS reads the full sentence where your cursor is located, and is helpful for understanding context, editing, and proofreading.
Use ALT+NUM PAD 5 (desktop) or INSERT+H (laptop).
It’s especially useful when sentences span multiple lines or when a line contains more than one sentence. Unlike Say Line, this ensures you hear the complete thought.

Not only did I just find a Mastodon client that works on Windows 7, but it is even designed specifically to work with screen readers! It will be very interesting to see what new features are added in the future, but for now, I should be able to at least read, reply to, and boost posts, and to write my own.
