He has been involved in demolition operations in Gaza, posted videos of those activities, and made controversial remarks such as saying he considered publishing a picture of a Palestinian “because Hamas will finish him.”

The Education Minister praised him as a symbol of deep commitment to the #Jewish people, #Torah and the land, citing his lifelong work to strengthen Torah study and settlement. However, the Judicial Complaints Authority warned that his public calls for settlement in #Gaza and related statements breach the ethical code for judges, since they involve politically contested positions and blur the separation between his judicial duties and military service.
