Andrew CrawfordI tried sprinkling salt on the Colorverse LGM ink, too.
I tried it with the Colorverse Milky Sea blue and got a dramatically different result. This seems a little reminiscent of shibori.

Originally I wasn't going to post an ink swatch article this week, but I really wanted to write a bit about my latest Skogsy Pens Cholla pen that I bought post-Christmas, since I had just refilled it with 3 Oysters Americano (yes, folks, another brown ink). 🙂 First, let me show

Day 8 is Marley, a purple gray with some amazing chromatography with a rose hue and a vivid teal making an appearance.
Swatches are made on Canson, cold press 140lb watercolor paper with a brass Kakimori nib. I’m using a self-inking stamp from Midori that has an oil based ink. My wife spotted this stamp at a Kinokuniya Portland visit.
