💾 Last month I read all 12 stories from #Grist's #Imagine2200 contest, the most popular #Clifi competition.

In this post I try to give a brief overview of each story (with summary and opinion, so that you can contradict me if I got something wrong!), explain what felt missing, and why I think we need #Solarpunk authors to try harder and push the boundaries of what we can collectively imagine.

About 7 months ago, I approached Premee Mohamed to see if she would write a climate fiction story for Grist, which would be published outside of the #Imagine2200 contest.

She sent in this delightful piece about a young woman getting separated from her nomadic city during a storm. It was a joy for me to edit this story, and now everyone can read it!
