Ich hab mich durchaus als Fan von #SrarWars gesehen, aber bis zur #Podcast Serie #Imperium über Star Wars habe ich nichts von #MarciaLukas und ihrer Rolle bei der Entstehung von Star Wars gewusst. Ohne sie hätten wir sicherlich ein andere Star Wars Erlebnis gehabt.
Wenn wir uns dann vor Augen führen, dass sie an so vielen mehr Filmen beteiligt war, ist die Reduktion auf Star Wars (leider wenig überraschend) recht typisch für unsere heutige Welt.

Danke Euch - wobei ich mir als #StarWars - Fan seit Jugend schon auch den Hinweis erlauben möchte, dass wir keine oberflächlichen Ignoranten sind. Wir haben alle Filme mehrfach gesehen, viele Bücher gelesen und diskutierten „unsere“ Mythologie nicht weniger engagiert, als es etwa die frühen Griechen es mit der Ilyas oder Odyssee getan haben mögen.
Das war damals auch „Unterhaltung“ & gilt heute als Kanon.
Und dass etwa die Mandalorianer als eine selten gelungene Einbeziehung des Judentums in einer Space Opera gelten, finde auch nicht nur ich relevant.
Niemand muss unser Fandom teilen, aber wir brauchen uns auch nicht pauschal abwerten lassen. Das tun „wir“ ja bei Fans von Bach, Mozart o.ä. auch nicht. Finde ich. 😌🚀📚

I tried out the Vikings civ for the first time in #Imperium. This was the first i tried that plays wildly different from others. They have no Empire state, thus only have a giant Nation deck. They also have no History so you have to use a lot of garrison cards to keep your deck under control. I got a win against the Scythian bot but it was close.
