what you see pretty much everywhere you look at Tandayapa, it's a grainy "noisy" place to photograph because it's cloud / rain forest plus you're trying to capture moving hummingbirds at close range but what models you have to choose from!

here we have purple bibbed white tip, white-booted rackettail (both males) & i think blurry in the back is andean emerald

Final Finesses: A rufous hummingbird puts the final touches on her nest. With a long lens, a small break in the foliage, and the eagle eye of @kcscrimshaw , I was lucky enough to spy this beauty a few weeks ago. Despite living in a refuge with hundreds of acres of protected wilderness, she chose to build her nest close to a public pathway.
