How do you guys back up your #homelab #homeservers

I am running a #raspberrypi and #docker via casa os with freshrss paperless-ngx a ghost blog and navidrome and jellyfin among a few other less important containers.

For windows I have both image based backups via macrium and file based backups using both syncback to HDD + backblaze for off-site

Linux intermediate I would say in terms of skill level .

Main thing is backing up the docker containers and configs as well as data files os doesn't really matter so image only if it's the easiest .

Hey all you #HomeLab types!

I am currently running an old desktop with Debian to run #PiHole on my home router and computers. When I set it up, I did a crappy job and now everything is out of date, etc. and want to start over.

I don't have any real strong network needs, although I suppose remote backups would be nice to add to PiHole.

I am considering running #ProxMox as the server. Is this going to make my life easier? Is there a good starter guide for a simple set up?

Are there other alternatives I should consider?

I'm planning to move my home servers to my Bangkok (Thailand's capital city) house - this is due to the fact that:

• I'm moving back to Bangkok this August
• Some uncertain situation at the current server location

Hopefully, I can "move" the internet plan to my house (that is what my dad told me tho)
