As invited, someone indeed came to our booth to see his own lipase #protein #structure project in #HoloDeck - fantastic! We prepared the file within a few minutes using #UCSF #ChimeraX and presented it in #AugmentedReality.

I think the #strangenewworlds writers are having a lot of fun this season. I've enjoyed the first four episodes leaning into the campiness of the original series, before the #federation became too stultified by its aging bureaucracy. I'll even forgive somehow retconn ing in a malfunctioning #holodeck episode to the show.
