By the way, we're only at day 73 so either the next episode cover a very long part of it or the year of hell was much shorter than expected.
Anyway, my biggest issue so far is them ignoring all we have seen Kes goes through, as if she was erased from the story. Even if it's the intent, I which the episode at least gesture at the fact and not just ignore it.
Otherwise it's a good episode, although it could easily have been a whole season of the show. (But I guess it was a bit too dark for the show intended tone)
I just had to check Battlestar Galactica's 33 minutes, but apparently neither writer or director have work on both 33 minutes and year of hell.
And I already know it will be a really hard reboot, like nothing actually happen... And, ok, sure, that's a disturbing though, and its a possibility by the nature of the story...
Still it sucks that all this drama is not capitalized on. In old Kes's timeline, they did have repercussions. Kathryn and B'Elanna were dead and stayed dead. Kes went backward through time because of it.
I don't want major characters to be dead, but at least Voyager could have gone through a healing process. I know it doesn't happen and it's a waste.
That said this is all in the next episode so, I guess I should reserve my judgement until then.
Damn that end of episode hits hard...
Maybe a bit too hard for the mid season two parter... Not even mid season. This is not the place for a drastic change in the show like what this episode hints at. I don't think it would have been good for the show to fully commit to this but you just know there will be some kind of reboot.
The story contains its own solution for a reboot even, since it's about time travel used as a weapon. (which in itself is a cool concept, and you know it's cool because it's a popular trope.)
At this point, at least the dandelion's strategy makes more sense.
They now know how to make temporal shielding, the enemy is mostly gone so the remaining crew probably won't encounter them... And Voyager itself is nearly dead.
Oh, I bet Chakotay never did fed his gift to Kathryn to the replicator system.
Anyway, what is the temporal brigade doing?
Anger is the path to the dark side, Kathryn...
Man, Kathryn sitting leaning forward on the ravaged bridge is chilling.
Tuvok and Seven bounding over messy humans is very funny.
Wait I though Tuvok was dead?
