Highspeed-Internet dorthin bringen, wo heute kaum Empfang ist 🧑💻🌍Genau daran arbeitet Prof Ingmar Kallfass mit seinem Team an der #UniStuttgart.
📡Mit einer Terahertz-Richtfunkverbindung erreichen sie extrem hohe Datenraten und können so noch mehr Daten in kurzer Zeit von A nach B senden. Der Livebetrieb auf dem Campus in Stuttgart zeigt, dass sie Verbindung selbst bei schlechtem Wetter stabil weiterfunkt.
🤓Die Technologie könnte ein echter Gamechanger für den Ausbau von #6G sein: Ländliche Regionen könnten künftig schneller, flexibler und günstiger vernetzt werden – ganz ohne aufwändigen Glasfaserausbau.
