Partly cloudy and warmer today with highs around 28ºC. The spice comes tomorrow as a low pressure system spins warm, moist air into the region from the south.

Look for Thursday highs around 32ºC with possible t-storms in the afternoon. The SPC has a marginal (level 1/5) risk of severe t-storms for the Columbia Basin and nearby areas with the primary threat being severe wind over 93 km/h.

Showers taper off Friday morning with clearing skies and strong winds. Highs much cooler, closer to 23ºC. Sunny but mild through the weekend.

Mostly cloudy today with maybe some spotty drizzle. Cool, high near 19ºC. Clearing tomorrow and quite a bit warmer but the real spice comes Thursday.

A strong upper level low is forecast to park in California on Thursday and this will spin up warm air and moisture into Eastern Oregon. Scattered t-storms are possible, though the higher chance of rain is in the mountains and toward Pendleton.

Windy Friday with some lingering showers, sunny and mild this weekend.
