NARA is set up at Hamcation, and we'd love to meet you face-to-face. We're dedicated to promoting amateur radio while empowering ham radio operators and clubs across the country. Whether you're already a NARA member or just curious about our work, we want to connect with you.

Hamcation brings together thousands of hams from across the nation, and it's a opportunity to have real conversations about the future of ham radio.

Six things every #hamfest needs. I can get behind most of these.

The MARC #hamfest in North Canton had a lot of good stuff, with some piles of things like you used to see at shows. I didn't bring home much (too many projects!) but I did get a number of photos. Check out what I saw at the show:

There's a #hamfest happening at the Military Air Preservation Museum hanger in North Canton, Ohio this weekend. This was good local show last year, and the included museum admission was quite the bonus. If you're in the area, it's well worth the time to visit.

The Early Television Museum's fall swap meet happened this past weekend. I was quite pleased with the targeted vendor turnout - a lot of (surprise!) Antique television stuff with a bit of #hamfest gear, and none of the tat you normally see these days at shows. The museum itself was also an electronic wonderland and I highly recommend it if you're in the area! Pictures from the Cleveland #hamfest are on the way, but I wanted to present this item by itself. A rather unique old floor speaker (cone long gone...) was both furniture and component. If someone had the know-how to put a new cone on this, it would be quite an interesting piece.

Unfortunately, no price was marked and I didn't have room for it, so it had to stay there. Sorry, unique speaker. You weren't for me.

One of Oklahoma’s longest-running hamfests (since 1948), and still going strong. Come show support!

This will be my second year attending, and I can’t wait to dive back in—license exams, prize raffles (Yaesu gear!), vendor tables, digital mode forums, and most importantly, catching up with fellow hams.

i've started a new blog about my ham radio adventures. I just can't get on the Discord train as much as I want for sharing content so I'll just stick to what I like. My latest post is about visiting my hometown ham fest in Enid, OK.

I won a TYT TH-9800! Very fun
