πŸ“Œ Poster Session highlights at #HAICON26

It was great to see strong interest in the posters presented by our #HMC colleagues.

Santiago Casas Castro showcased his work on metadata crosswalk extraction and graph-grounded interoperability, while Marjan Kohandani from the #HMCproject #AIMWORKS presented their results.

Many thanks to everyone who stopped by for discussions and questions!

πŸš€ MIRO-LLMs kicked off in January!

The #HMCproject aims to improve #FAIRdata in radiation oncology & microbiome research – using knowledge graphs & #LLM to make data more accessible and kicked-off with partners from @DKFZ, @MDC_Berlin
& #HMC Hub Health.

πŸš€ Operando4NeXus Kick-off in Berlin!

The #HMCproject #Operando4NeXus has started. Partners met in #Berlin to align on goals and kick off collaboration.

The project advances #interoperability and #metadata integration in the #NeXus standard, supporting #FAIRdata in photon & neutron science.

Great exchange with @fairmat_nfdi @DAPHNE4NFDI & #SECoP@HMC β€” metadata is teamwork!

πŸ’™ #LoveDataWeek 2026 | Day 5: Reuse it FAIR

#LoveData26 is coming to an end – but there is no β€œend” with #FAIRdata.

Interoperability is the foundation of data reuse & enables data to move across systems, contexts+research domains.

This is exactly what we focus on at today’s #HMC_FAIRfriday:
How ELN-driven #metadata #interoperability enables sustainable data #reuse across systems & research contexts.

#HMCproject INSTRUGRAM kicked off 2 weeks ago in Hamburg πŸš€

#INSTRUGRAM aims to simplify & standardize how scientific instruments are registered in metadata systems. By providing reusable PIDINST-based templates & a modular tool, the project supports the creation of high-quality, interoperable &#FAIR metadata across research domains,

1st ideas were discussed at the kick-off with colleagues from #GEOMAR, #Hereon, #AWI, #GFZ & #BSH.
