Liberals and conservatives have long collaborated to build a more powerful state (#ICE, #CIA, etc.) under explicit domination of monied interests. The #FarRight then built a #GrievanceCulture to seize control, using attacks on #DEI & #CRT as just the tip of an iceberg of horrors.

The right's moral philosophy is centred on greed, fear, and entitlement. Their #ThinkTanks cultivated a perverse #GrievanceCulture since the 1950s, related to #feminism, #segregation, #LGBT rights, and #immigration. None are threats, but fear of them serves élite power interests.

I’m listening to the book The Trial of Adolf Hitler: The Beerhall Putsch and the Rise of Nazi Germany. It is both fascinating and illuminating.
