Après une installation toute propre de #Fedora, si vous voulez utiliser #LibreOffice, n'oubliez surtout pas d'installer le pack d'internationalisation français (en fait la langue par défaut de votre session) avant ou ça risque de partir en cacahuètes 😃

(En fait, si #GnomeSoftware fonctionne bien, il vous le proposera, mais là comme j'ai le bug décrit dans le pouet précédent...)
Si, comme moi, vous avez #GnomeSoftware qui prend 5 min à charger les données, où si l'extinction du pc met elle aussi 5 min, c'est sans doute à cause de dnf5daemon-server.
En l'occurrence dans mon cas c'est la vérification gpg d'un des 2 repos tiers que j'ai déclaré : #vscodium ou #librewolf (très certainement ce dernier vu les alertes lors de la mise à jour)
Problem If you install some additional third party RPM repositories (or install third-party RPM files which themselves add an RPM repository), you might see GNOME Software suddenly becoming very unresponsive. Just loading the initial page (or any page) can take 5 minutes. These 5-minute delays can happen in unknown intervals. The currently confirmed third-party repos which cause this are: Cursor, NextDNS. Note: This issue might also affect DNFDragora in KDE, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet...

Ga naar Software -> Updates (#gnomesoftware) en download de updates. Als de knop verandert in "Herstarten en bijwerken" negeer je 'm en sluit je je computer af zoals je gewend bent. Je ziet dan de 2e afbeelding. Scheelt toch weer een keer herstarten

Fico meio indignado como tudo o que envolve o Gnome Shell é meio podre. A interface quer ser a cara do Linux e concordo que o trabalho de padronização de design dos softwares que fazem parte do Gnome Circle está indo muito bem, porém no que diz respeito à funcionalidade... p*ta que pariu.
Primeiro que é impossível ser produtivo sem usar extensões criadas pelos usuários. Tente usar o Gnome "vanilla", sem nenhum extra instalado. Deus me livre.
Depois temos alguns programas oficiais que não cumprem a tarefa pela qual foram concebidos. Veja por exemplo a loja de software oficial: a semanas não aparecem os ícones dos aplicativos. Tive que instalar o excelente aplicativo Bazaar, que dá um pau em todos os sentidos na loja do Gnome.
Ir pra o KDE (aquela interface "bloated")? Jamais. Usuários Linux fazem questão demais de customizar suas áreas de trabalho ao invés de utilizar como vem por padrão. Não vemos usuários de Mac ou Windows perdendo tempo com isso. Outro ponto que me fez sair do KDE é a incapacidade dos aplicativos oficiais de agenda de conectarem à conta do Google. Testei em 2025 com o Debian 13 e o KDE Neon, e nada de funcionar.
É pra acabar...

This time the upgrade was successful. Note to me: don’t trust GNOME software to do the upgrade correctly.
Pro Tip™ from @pwithnall for #FreeDesktop app developers: if you want your application to be easily found in the GNOME Software app center store, you need to add "keyword" metadata fields to complement your app's name and tagline. The "description" metadata field is not used for searching!

This adds some keywords explicitly to make the app show up for more potential search queries, as the description is not used for searching by some software center...
So, what's going on when Gnome Software says there's 2 runtime-thingies available for update, while Bazaar says there's 5? And when I do the 2 in Software, Bazaar says there's now suddenly just 1?
