@dmarti
Have you tried #librewolf the alternative build of Firefox that has all of this turned off from the start? I think @librewolf is worth a try. I have it installed as my alternative when #Safari encounters a broken website on #macOS.

After my toot asking about which browser people use to replace Firefox, I'm trying #Librewolf.

It's really good. Also, I was using Brave for some time and didn't knew that Firefox/Librewolf now has vertical tabs.

I loved it. Feeling at home with Librewolf.

@RaymondPierreL3 Because #LibreWolf deliberately disables or strips out the exact stack #Netflix depends on. It’s not about “browser snobbery,” it’s about #DRM and compatibility. I suggest that you Temporarily toggle a #Firefox-like User-Agent for netflix.com (using an extension like UA Switcher). Hope this helps!
@RaymondPierreL3 @gnomon For what it's worth, I've never encountered any site that complained that I was using an #unsupported #browser #librewolf
@gnomon
While still installed on my notebook, I do not use #Firefox and will not use it again until @Mozilla fix this with an opt-in option only. I am now using #LibreWolf and any site that tells me I am using an unsupported browser rings LOUD ALARM bells…
librewolf.overrides.cfg

debian/devuan as librewolf.overrides.cfg resides in $HOME/.librewolf/, is there an option as well to make an override in /etc/librewolf (to be created then?) Or do I have to copy between $USERs ?

(Ik gebruik #Librewolf, een fijnere (lees privacyvriendelijkere) versie van Firefox)

Does anyone know how you can set default preferences for all users for Librewolf on Linux? I tried creating files in /etc/librewolf/defaults/pref/, but if I use defaultPref, it says: refs parse error: unknown keyword, if I use pref instead, it is ignored. The documentation says using librewolf.override.cfg, but that only seems to work for one user.

#librewolf #firefox

@sebgogola I have! It’s good too. Gotta love the fine work at #librewolf.
