Got a free rotisserie chicken and 1/2 gallon of milk at #GiantFood today because of points. You gotta love grocery store points. I think I must have racked them up last week with 2x point items. Those are always a nice surprise because I don't go out of my way looking for those.

Of course, if I were to buy a rotisserie chicken, I'd go to Costco. $5 for a 5 lb bird. At regular grocery stores, the birds are around 3.3 to 3.5 lbs and they cost more.

I had points about to expire for #GiantFood, so I used them to get frozen pancakes. This is something I never would buy because pancakes, it's easy to make them, you know? But I didn't want my points to go to waste.

You know what? Frozen pancakes are pretty good. They freeze very well, and nuking them in the microwave works great.

I redeemed 300 pts at #GiantFood to get a free rotisserie chicken today.

The thing with grocery store rotisserie chicken--you never know what you're going to get. Sometime, it's incredibly flavorful, and other times--like today--it tastes like it had no seasoning whatsoever. Not even salt and pepper!

I don't get it. It's like it depends on who prepared it that day. I would think they have a set procedure, but maybe someone was lazy and didn't do anything other than throwing it in the oven.
