Here are all the minimal generating sets of the Boolean algebra over four elements.

I think I have given up on trying to make this more virtually interesting -- I think there is just not enough structure to work with. :(

The Boolean algebra/lattice here is all subsets of {A, B, C, D}, ordered by subset inclusion. A generator for this set is a set of sets, such that the entire algebra can be generated by unions, intersections, and complements. For example, {A}, {B}, {C} is a generator because we can get {A, B, C} via union, {D} via complement, and then build all the rest of the sets from those singletons.
