Brief existence – Think T-shirt
This is another organic cotton T-shirt from our Scientist and Philosopher range that we have produced on the Teemill platform. I took this photo in Place de la Palud, Lausanne, Switzerland. A man was entertaining children by blowing soap bubbles. Against a blue sky it looks wonderful but the bubble only lives for a very short time. Taking this photo I have added Think to it because many people in so many situations do not think issues through. Often they are indoctrinated by society, culture or religion from an early age where to think for oneself and to question why is not looked upon favourably. This is very dangerous for the future of our own species as well as many other forms of life. (S&P)

Finished reading. Great coverage of freethought from late 18th to early 20th century.
Interesting to see some cyclical history. Hoffman describes an antiscriptural emphasis to the Paine era & social reform emphasis in the Robert Owen era, which prefigures a similar difference in 20th/21st century freethought between skeptical debunking and social justice emphases.
