I'll rather get a MacBook Pro 16" (M4Pro), or a RTX 5080 (16GB, 15~50%) laptop with a high end Intel CPU.

@Mae you can swap the mainboard to upgrade CPUs, expansion cards to add storage, as well as the ability to swap ram and M2 storage drives.

The recently released, and still backordered (I’m in batch 13), Framework 16 was designed with the ability to swap GPUs, but they have yet to release any new GPUs as they haven’t finished releasing the first. They have released the design specs of the shell so a motivated individual could try and put a different GPU into it.
