In today's episode of "Evil begats evil", former National finance minister with the dodgy calculator Steven Joyce has been just appointed to the Foodstuffs North Island board.

Sounds "pretty legal".

Joyce is also the chair of the NZ Herald and is up to his elbows in the back-room slime surrounding approval for the not-required Waikato Medical School, for which he received one million dollars in "consultancy" fees.
