I'm only now reading issue 97 of Fantasy Magazine (that I got months ago) and I thought I'd share this wonderful story from it that I just read about grief and pain and holding (or not holding) yourself together. It's not even 2,000 words long. It won't take much of your time.

Fantasy Magazine wasn't able to receive enough funding to continue with its revival, so the upcoming issue, 99, will be the last for the forseeable future. I'm sure it would mean a lot to the publisher and the team who works so hard to bring the magazine back, if more people read these stories and put in support for what is still going to be available.

7 Ausgaben des Online-Magazin "Fantasy - News and Lifestyle" gibt es bereits.
Alexander Wolfgang Strüver versucht, auf seiner Webseite und im Magazin einen Überblick über das ganze Spektrum der Fantasy abzubilden.
Und heute wurde auf diesem Portal (was man auch in Zukunft im Auge behalten sollte), auch über den Verlag Torsten Low geschrieben.

Se avessero detto al Mauri sette/undicenne che un giorno avrebbe incontrato l'autore di Piccoli brividi in più di un'occasione, probabilmente non ci avrebbe creduto.
E invece.
Incontrare un mito reale della propria infanzia è stato meno straniante del previsto. R.L. Stine si è rivelato adorabile, alla mano, spiritoso e molto curioso anche durante una chiacchierata informale. È stato un vero piacere averlo conosciuto. Penso sia uno dei ricordi più belli che conserverò per sempre, tra i migliori (perché ce ne sono stati parecchi altri, eh!) collezionati nelle varie Lucche.

January's Locus just arrived. It contains news that Amazon and Kindle are canceling all magazine subscriptions.

After September 2023, my subscriptions to #FandSF and #Asimovs will end.
