More attention needs to be paid to the needs of FM residents and how they learn pediatrics. Fewer Family Physicians care for children in practice now than decades ago. Without making sure residents leave FM programs comfortable and competent to care for children, this trend will increase and children in rural areas will have less access to care. #FMrevolution #Medicine #MedEd

-I know my panel & my patients.
-I am not rewriting the book each time. I’m on the same page as my patients-more forward looking than back.
-I have generational visits w families
-I control my schedule and schedule them appropriately
-I know my med team, RN, MAs, etc
Don’t judge primary care until you’ve done it for years. It can be so so rewarding.
