what #discord alternatives are people using? I made an account on #fluxer #stoat and #matrix I definitely use Matrix the most of the three, but I'm curious what other peoples experiences are. I do think Fluxer definitely has potential, with their goals of self hosting and federation. Matrix is solid but feels a bit dated to me, plus features across various clients can vary a good bit. With Stoat, I don't think I've looked at it more than twice since the name change. Flotilla seemed like it might be interesting, but being built on nostr means that it's pretty much only used by crypto bros

Reminder that Principia has a #Fluxer community! I have now set up bridging between the Principia Discord server and the Fluxer community, mirroring the channel layout between the two. Level, forum and chat feeds should also show up on Fluxer too once I have figured out their webhooks system.

I hope this will work better than the Matrix space, and will be enough to help people make the switch off Discord.
