Was doing some more load testing on my self hosted mini pc with my colyseus backend. I noticed the colyseus load test runner itself can disconnect due to log spam being shown in the terminal. Reminds me of java days haha. Removing all logs kept a comfortable 1000 concurrent players moving around at a tick rate of 50ms.

Jeg har haft en fornøjelig aften med Starling. Med Starling kan du drive en letvægtsinstans hos en alm. dansk webhoteludbyder, for systemkravene er ganske små. Det eneste, der kræves er, at webhotellet kan afvikle minimum PHP 8.2 og Sqlite. Det er fedt at se projekter som dette med fokus på afslappede systemkrav, for en hel Mastodon-opsætning vil være overkill for mange mennesker, navnlig hvis man ikke har ambitioner om at drive et stort socialt medie.
