I spent a few hours reading the #Matrix specifications last night (I still have much more to read).

Overall, they seem good.

There's a lot there, but it's laid out in a way that makes it work reasonable well as reference material. I can jump to what I'm interested in at the moment, and there are links to the other sections that I might want/need to read about in order to understand the task at hand.

My current focus is cross-signing and the trust between accounts and devices.

I am looking to replace #Discord.

I want to make this work with #Matrix and #fluffychat

Can I:

- Get just a link that goes directly to fluffychat on MY server, loading MY chat channel/space
- Involve zero external links in the login process
- Get a link that directly invites people to add me as a contact in Matrix?

The login flow I am using now sucks and the 'invite' from fluffychat is not a link but a multi-step process explained via text. That will not do.
