Tim Chambers@rimu Are there upcoming #FASP offerings that might help with media storage? I think @Mastodon may be building something like that that seems to apply to any fediverse software. Does #piefed have #FASP support on its roadmap?

Glad to see things like search and discovery #FASP, although it doesn't seem like FASPs are being modeled with an #ActorModel or #JSON-LD in mind. Another thing I'd like to see implement is federated search (#sparQL has prior art)
lcbHey @PaulaToThePeople Really appreciate the flag. Fediway is a discovery feed, not a bridge, we are building on #FASP by mastodon and existing bridges. We don't push content between protocols. We only process publicly addressed content and check indexable/discoverable flags. If that line read as dismissive of consent, that's worth hearing, wasn't the intent. I'm starting to kick around ideas for a #FASP for social feeds. @evan has suggested one for global hashtags, and the #Fediscovery folks are doing one for search. It feels like "feeds" is a missing & @Flipboard, @surf and @newsmast and others have great feeds in the wild now. And I think, correctly me if I'm wrong @darius that the exact new feed format is being sussed out at the WC3. I think maybe the time is right to consider what a Feeds FASP might be. La diputada federal Marcela Guerra Castillo presentó una iniciativa de reforma a la Ley General del Sistema Nacional de Seguridad Pública, orientada a la profesionalización policial y a la coordinación interinstitucional. Su propuesta contempla la creación de un Fondo Federal de Profesionalización Policial, con recursos etiquetados dentro del marco de los Fondos de Ayuda Federal previstos en el Título Octavo de la ley.
El proyecto de ley plantea que la asignación de dichos recursos esté condicionada al cumplimiento de estándares verificables de certificación, control de confianza y capacitación continua, además de establecer la obligación legal de interoperabilidad de bases de datos de seguridad pública entre la Federación, las entidades federativas y los municipios.
Subrayó que el objetivo es fortalecer a las policías locales, mejorar la coordinación metropolitana, elevar la calidad del servicio de seguridad pública y reducir de manera sostenida los delitos de alto impacto, especialmente en entidades estratégicas como Nuevo León y sus municipios.
La legisladora aclaró que la propuesta no desconoce la existencia del Fondo de Aportaciones para la Seguridad Pública (FASP), previsto en la Ley de Coordinación Fiscal como mecanismo de transferencia de recursos federales. Sin embargo, señaló que el FASP es un instrumento de naturaleza fiscal y presupuestaria, con un objeto amplio que incluye infraestructura, equipamiento, tecnología, prevención del delito y fortalecimiento institucional. –sn–
